Vince McMahon Netflix Documentary Release Date In Question Over Recent Accusations

A Netflix documentary about Vince McMahon was a go, but new info about the former WWE boss has likely changed the release date.

In 2020, we learned Netflix would be coming out with a documentary about Vince McMahon. Since that announcement, everything about Vince has changed.

He has been accused of sexual abuse, sexual traffic and other disturbing claims. We already learned in the summer of 2022 how Vince had been making large hush-money settlements to various women.

After mounting pressure he resigned in 2022. Like many guessed, it did not last.

After a few months, he was back on the board. This time, he planned to sell WWE and that happened right after WrestleMania 39.

WWE looked to be doing great as The Rock joined the TKO Board and Netflix will become home to RAW in 2025. Billions of dollars will be made, but there was horrible news to follow about Vince.

After the recent claims, he was convinced to resign. We will never see Vince McMahon again in WWE and the same might go for Brock Lesnar.

Netflix was working on a documentary about Vince McMahon. It was moving along well, but it seems to have stopped.

Dave Meltzer commented how he was part of the documentary, but has not heard any updates because of what Vince supposedly did. He went further into details on the Wrestling Observer Radio.

“I haven’t heard anything about [the release of] the doc,” said Meltzer. “This changes the whole doc, 100%.” 

“They were done. It was going to be out very, very soon. I don’t know how it can possibly be out very, very soon now.”

“Vince himself said he wanted an honest doc. I don’t think he wanted it this honest and I don’t think, at the time, he knew that these skeletons would be coming out of the closet.” 

“And, the stuff that he thought was covered up ended up being uncovered.”

If the documentary ever airs, we will have to see how they make Vince look. Personally, he is a terrible person and deserves to be in prison.

So, will the Netflix documentary on Vince McMahon ever get a release date?
